The standard Mercedes-Benz E63 S AMG is powered by a V-shaped, 8-cylinder, twin-turbo petrol engine with around 610 horsepower.
To improve the power and dynamic performance of the standard E63 S AMG, a First stage modification can be carried out. Only by software changes to the engine management computer can the engine power be increased to 740 horsepower. This limit is achieved without any mechanical modifications and with all standard and original systems remaining intact.
If this is not enough, StartLine Motors offers a second stage power boost programme, which can reach 780 horsepower. This requires some mechanical modifications. One of the most important is the modification of the air intake system. Replacing the standard exhaust system with a more efficient one not only adds more power, but also changes the sound of the engine, further enhancing the sporty driving experience.
The Stage 2+ package increases the engine's power to 800 horsepower. In addition to the changes already listed, more efficient turbines must be fitted. However, this step also offers the potential to reach 900 horsepower with a few additional modifications, which is also the limit of what the standard engine components can handle.
For those who want the maximum result, the Stage 3 power boost level is available. By replacing the standard connecting rods, pistons and crankshaft with a more robust one, the E63 S AMG can be taken into the 1000+ horsepower zone, with the dynamic performance to enjoy one of the world's fastest mid-size sedans.
